YIVO is a founding partner of the Center for Jewish History.

YIVO-Bard Institute for East European Jewish History and Culture
This new institute, the first of its kind in the U.S., a partnership of YIVO with Bard College,  presents an integrated program of study in the culture, history, language, and literature of East European Jews.

Digital Public Library of America
YIVO is a partner of the Digital Public Library of America, which works with cultural institutions to identify and provide access online to digital content.

Hebrewbooks.org
The Society for the Preservation of Hebrew Books and YIVO are working on joint projects to digitize rare books and periodicals from the YIVO Library.

Judaica Europeana
YIVO is a partner of Judaica Europeana, which works with cultural institutions to identify and provide access online to content which documents the Jewish presence and heritage in the cities of Europe.

The National Library of Israel
In February 2013, YIVO and The National Library of Israel announced a joint project to digitize the archives of the late Yiddish writer Chaim Grade.

The National Library of Lithuania and The Lithuanian Central State Archive
YIVO is working in partnership with these two institutions to digitize prewar YIVO book and archival collections which remained behind in Lithuania after World War II as part of the Edward Blank YIVO Vilna Online Collections project.

POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews
In October 2012, YIVO and the MHPJ announced a partnership to promote general knowledge of Polish Jewish history and culture through educational, public, and exchange programs.

reVilna
reVilna is a digital map of the Vilna Ghetto, created in collaboration with YIVO.

Smithsonian Institution
The Smithsonian Affiliate network of more than 200 organizations collaborates with the Smithsonian – and with each other – to create experiences that educate and inspire millions of guests each year in their own neighborhoods. As an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, YIVO will participate in the National Museum of American History's monthly Cooking up History Program on May 1, 2020. This will involve a live cooking demonstration by guest chef Joan Nathan of a recipe from YIVO’s Vilna Vegetarian Cookbook. YIVO is also a regular contributor to the Smithsonian Folklife magazine.

Yad Vashem
YIVO is working in partnership with Yad Vashem to digitize documents for the Vilna Collections Project.
