Solihull School and The YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, UK, host a groundbreaking conference with bespoke options for Primary & Secondary teachers involving Holocaust survivors, educators, keynote speakers & organisations tackling hate crime. Eva Schloss will be joined by fellow Auschwitz survivor Mindu Hornick, Ahmed Nawaz and Professor Sara Jones of Birmingham University. The program will also include organisations such as Remembering Srebrenica, the Anne Frank Trust UK and the Holocaust Educational Trust. There will also be an opportunity to watch a performance of And Then They Came for Me, a critically acclaimed play about Eva’s remarkable life story, and view The Promise, an exhibition, about the artistic talents her brother Heinz cultivated whilst hiding from the Nazis for two years.
