Did you know? YIVO turns ninety next year. To thank you for being a great audience, we’d like to hand you the mic – we want to hear your voices. How should we celebrate our 90th? What do you want to see on the YIVO stage? Pitch an idea for a public program – we'll select our favorite by early next year, and work with the winner to produce their event in 2015.
Send us your ideas soon! After all, we only turn ninety once.
1. Send your program idea by email to Helena Gindi, Director of Public Programs (firstname.lastname@example.org) by December 14th with the subject heading "YIVO's 90th Anniversary". You may also write your idea on an index card and drop it off at our table at any YIVO program. Program ideas will not be accepted by phone.
2. Ideas should reflect YIVO’s focus on East European Jewish history, literature, language, culture, and the arts.
3. You may present your ideas as an individual or as part of a team.
4. Think big or small—we want all your ideas.
